Today, we received a lovely email from a viewer of a documentary we produced a few years ago. She said, “Just wanted to get a note off to you, to let you know I recently viewed “Toolbox of America,” on Northern California Public Media, and thought it was outstanding. I’m a huge documentary fan, and I’ve seen hundreds, and this one was right up there. Absolutely fascinating, well researched, well edited. It encompassed so much more than the history of Stanley, and really was an entire history lesson about manufacturing in America.“
These are hard times for all workers who need to gather in order to make a living. In the film production world, that includes freelance producers, writers, photographers, researchers, audio engineers, gaffers, production assistants, graphic artists and editors who are the majority of the production workforce. These notes really help to brighten our day.
